    Externally Sponsored Research Program

Mirum is committed to advancing the science of rare diseases in order to positively impact patients’ lives. Mirum actively supports research efforts conducted by external groups that are within our therapeutic areas of interest, as these studies could play a key role in helping answer important medical and scientific questions. These studies can help advance our understanding of rare diseases.

The Mirum External Sponsored Research (ESR) program supports research in line with Mirum’s therapeutic areas of interest submitted by an individual investigator or a collaborative group. The research idea is conceived, initiated, conducted (including ensuring all legal and regulatory requirements are met) and sponsored by the investigator or collaborative group. Study support may include requests for drug supply and /or funding for the project.
